The Delta State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) party has issued a public notice to members of the public over perceived membership registration scam ongoing in the state.
The message was contained a letter signed by the State Secretary of the party, Eseka Igwe Augustine, warning teeming supporters, members and the general public of scammers soliciting payments for membership registration.
According to the statement, “We want to emphasize that the National Leadership of the ADC party will provide further information on membership registration through official channels, and no payment should be made without official confirmation from the party’s national headquarters.”
He noted that, “The ADC Delta State Chapter is committed to ensuring the integrity and transparency of our party’s processes, and we urge all our members and supporters to be cautious of individuals or groups who may be taking advantage of the party’s growth and popularity to engage in fraudulent activities.
Continuing, he said, “We encourage every member of the party in Delta State to continue working hard for the growth and development of the ADC, as we are committed to building a strong and inclusive political party that serves the interests of all Delta State residents and Nigerians at large.
“We will keep our members and the public updated through our official channels, and social media platforms, and we urge everyone to follow these channels for authentic information.
“The ADC Delta State Chapter appreciates the enthusiasm and support of our members and the general public and assures everyone that we are working tirelessly to build a better future for our state and country.”
