Following the just-concluded direct primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the federation, a Delta State House of Assembly aspirant for Aniocha North Constituency II, Chief (Engr.) Kelvin Uche Okolie, has congratulated successful aspirants who emerged victorious at various levels of the exercise.
Chief Okolie, who recorded significant support during the primaries and played a notable role in mobilization efforts that contributed to the electoral success of the candidates, made this known in a statement issued on Sunday.
At the end of the week-long APC primaries, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, immediate past governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, and Hon. Fidel Onwordi emerged as the party’s flagbearers for the Presidential, Gubernatorial, Delta North Senatorial, Aniocha/Oshimili Federal House of Representatives, and Aniocha North constituency respectively, ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
The statement read in part: “I warmly congratulate His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR; Governor Sheriff Oborevwori; Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa; and all other successful aspirants on their well-deserved emergence as flagbearers of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), at the just-concluded party primaries.
“Your emergence is a clear testament to the confidence reposed in your leadership, capacity, vision, and unwavering commitment to the progress, unity, and development of our nation and state.
“The transparent and successful conduct of the primaries further demonstrates the strength of our democratic values and the collective resolve of our party to continue delivering purposeful leadership to the people.”
Chief (Engr.) Okolie expressed confidence that the experience, dedication, and people-oriented leadership of the party’s candidates would inspire greater confidence among Nigerians and pave the way for resounding victories at the polls as they carry the APC banner into the 2027 general elections.
He also commended party faithful and leaders who participated in the exercise for their sportsmanship, maturity, and commitment to the democratic process.
According to him: “Party unity remains paramount, and now is the time for all stakeholders to put all hands on deck for the journey ahead.”
He further appreciated constituents and supporters for their unwavering encouragement and solidarity throughout the primary process, assuring them of his continued commitment to grassroots development and inclusive representation.
