Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, member representing Delta North at the Nigerian Senate is set to receive the Best Performing Senator Award at the upcoming Democracy Heroes Award Africa 2025.
The prestigious event is scheduled to take place on October 16, 2025, at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
Organized annually to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of democracy and good governance across Africa, the Democracy Heroes Award Africa has become a benchmark for public service excellence.
In a congratulatory message, political supporter Blessing Blossom praised Senator Nwoko’s track record in office, describing him as a standout figure in Nigerian politics. “You can tell success when you see it. The name Ned Munir Nwoko is a successful name in the political industry,” Blossom said. “It is not a name synonymous with corruption, betrayal, or dishonesty.”
She further highlighted the Senator’s clean image and transparency in office. “There have been no investigations linking him to financial misconduct, nor any public scandal or press conference addressing wrongdoing. While some politicians from Delta North have lost public trust, Senator Nwoko stands out as a principled and corruption-free leader.”
According to her, Senator Nwoko’s integrity has preserved his reputation and household name — a legacy she believes will stand the test of time.
“To generations yet unborn, the mention of Senator Ned Nwoko will continue to ring positive bells and leave unfading memories of honesty,” she concluded.
Senator Nwoko, who represents Delta North Senatorial District, has been recognized for his legislative contributions, community development projects, and consistent advocacy for education, health, and youth empowerment.
